1. General
DotLine GmbH (hereinafter “we”) is pleased that you are using the “DST Training” app. Protecting your data is very important to us. This app is designed to work without collecting or processing personal data within the meaning of the GDPR.
2. Collection and storage of data
Local storage: All measurements, sector times and configurations recorded in the app (such as the lockout time) are stored exclusively locally on your device (smartphone/tablet).
No cloud, no tracking: This data is not transferred to servers of DotLine GmbH or to third parties. We do not use analysis tools (tracking) or advertising networks in the app.
3. Use of device functions (Bluetooth)
To provide the core function of the app – high-precision timing – “DST Training” requires access to your device’s Bluetooth interface.
Bluetooth (Low Energy) is used exclusively to establish a local connection to our specific light barrier modules and to read their time pulses and telemetry data (battery status, GPS fix of the module). No user-related data is sent or read via Bluetooth.
4. Access to location data (Android)
Our “DST Training” app communicates with external hardware modules (light barriers) via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). For searching and connecting Bluetooth devices, the Android operating system technically requires the location permission to be granted.
We expressly point out that the app uses this permission exclusively to establish the local Bluetooth connection. The app does not collect, store or transfer any GPS location data of the user to us or to third parties.
5. Your rights
As we do not store any of your personal data on our servers, we cannot provide information about it or delete it. You have full control over your data: deleting the app or the app data in your device’s system settings irrevocably removes all recorded series of runs.
